It makes me really happy.To answer your question: the future(that destiny goddess Angelica is from) and the present(our Arnold's timeline) aren't connected. Angelica can use her powers to communicate with people from the past but with some restrictions. Restrictions include: she can't physically bring someone from the past into the future and she can't change anything in the past(which is why she wanted to manipulate Liam to do the work for her). The old man's case is different. He used artifacts to communicate with our Arnold. Also, it was only possible to transfer his memories to Arnold due to the fact that they're the same person.
