Breezesong8mthCommentedThank you Pupa for this amazing novel!🥳 I read a lot of different novels but because of my short attention span and impatience, I usually stop reading after chapter 200 - 300. With this novel though, I was fully invested the whole time (I’ve never finished a novel that was over 400 chapters😅) I think that keeping readers hooked for nearly 800 chapters is a difficult thing and the fact that you were able to achieve that just shows how amazing you are as a writer💕I can’t wait to see Chloe and Vernon as a happy family.

I’d say he is downright disgusting in a pitiful way. Like he does these terrible things and then acts all pitiful but still can’t admit what he did was wrong. He is using his father’s methods of raising him as an excuse for how he treated Chloe when even if you have been mistreated that doesn’t give you the right to mistreat others. Dorothea has learned that and has turned over a new leaf as she tries to make things right not for her but for the people she wronged and has admitted to her faults. Vincent is claiming to want to make things right with Chloe, but it is because being with Chloe makes him feel big and he still won’t admit what he did to her is wrong. Which makes him weak and pitiful in my eyes. His actions and his thoughts about his family make him downright disgusting.🤮(sorry I made this huge paragraph about this I just love this book and have a lot of thoughts on it)🙃
