Old comment, but I think they were questioning Storm being a goddess (girl). The Gods’ genders are ambiguous, never really set in stone. For example, War has been depicted as both Male and Female in the 2nd Nightmare. But there were also instances where they were referred to with specific pronouns. Like Shadow referring to one of the Gods (forgot) as “sister”. There was a statue of Storm in the Ebony Tower, depicted as Female, so I think that’s where we are getting at for her

There seems to be a lot of Cassie Haters, and while I do get where they’re coming from, I still quite like her. She doesn’t seem to be the type to just go around betraying people willy-nilly, as I don’t think it’s part of her character, and the one time she did, it was for a logical reason that at least made sense in her eyes. In fact, I think even Sunny said he understood her decision, despite him still not being able to forgive her at the time. And afterwards, she did show remorse and regret for her betrayal (despite not having outwardly said sorry), even though in her eyes, it was the only option. Most of all, Sunny himself doesn’t even hate her as much as the Haters do. Sure, maybe their relationship might never be like how it used to be in the Forgotten Shore, but he has still shown signs of caring for her. He might not have said that he had forgiven her on the surface, but I believe he still cares deep down

I’m glad Sunny treats his Shadows as companions, though that’s obvious. I’m sure other Awakeneds(?) treat their Echoes well as well, but I’m also sure there are those who see them as only tools for battle and war

So far, him getting a new core doesn’t grant him any new abilities other than a new shadow and increased essence capacity. So no, he won’t be able to create monsters

I get the feeling the author is able to come up with unique titles for some of these earlier “The Fall of Falcon Scott” chapters, but he just didn’t feel like it and made it the title for the last 78 chapters of Volume 5

Sooo… do the people know that the Gods are dead? Is it just common knowledge? Why did I assume that it’s something only Sunny knew? When he spoke to Teacher Julius, did Julius mention the Gods being dead?
