Wonder why Lucian didn’t mention the freeze out when he tried that experiment
So true!
Thank you dear Jasmine! Once again you provided another thought-provoking chapter for your loyal fans! Love seeing the dynamics between Lucian and Zamiel! I still wonder what Zarin was doing there, if he listened to anything Heaven’s family had to say, or if he was hIs usual teenage know-it-all self, trying to justify his actions.
Promises, promises!
This is where Heaven should say, I'm telling Grandma Irene on you!
Go figure, Lucifer is being a mean SOB. I wish Zamiel would have appeared right before Heaven called for her Grandpa, so she would have had him as a supportive figure in the background. That mating mark isn't working too well these days, considering how often Heaven is feeling uncomfortable and ill, etc. I expected Zamiel to show up and offer emotional support, if nothing else. Also, how come Grandma Irene didn't appear to irritate Lothaire/Lucifer and offer her assistance? Hmmm, Heaven needs to stop trying to fight this battle on her own and get some expert advice while she has it available. Zarin can go suck an egg.
For those of us that have been around for awhile, we start reading it again from the beginning. It is amazing the things you pick up when you read the whole story again! Plus, I just love Hazel and Lucian! I've read the entire thing at least twice. LOL. I NEVER read a book twice! This story is quite captivating! We LOVE Jasmine and always look forward to her updates! She is a busy lady though! She's in nursing school and working at the same time. This is a hobby, that she was originally going to stop after the first book! Fans begged her to continue. So, please be kind as she is so busy, we are lucky to get updates 3 times a week!
I think this is a prime example of how we are all in control of our own destiny by the choices we make or ignore. Jasmine has done a great job at opening our eyes to the fact that evil exists everywhere, but we have a choice of which path to follow. You can't keep blaming others for your own actions when we each have free will to act as we so choose. Zarin is choosing a dangerous, dark and evil path that will bring misery to those who care for him.
