While the MC isn't a chad, nor smart enough to get everything he wants like some sort of mastermind, this story is what i think a accurate representation of a ordinary teen human being would be capable of is his situation, later in the story it's even adimitted that, even with his system boosting him, he isn't smart enough to quickly learn alchemy and magecraft. A lot of people will dislike the start of the story because of "beta MC". I believe that his situation of a mentally disaligned and traumatized child that got kidnapped from his family that doesn't have any talents is portrayed correctly, and the juice of the story is his pityful ass getting shit done, even if he doesn't make the best decisions most of the time, he later has to deal with the consequences and because of it he grows in power and character, later in the story, even while not growing to be a manipulative psychopath and still making mistakes, he becomes powerful enough to just middle-finger all his problems. And, to finish, a great part of this story is that all of his impactiful actions on the worlds he visits are told in detail, showing how his actions change the plot and lives of everyone around him, giving character delopment to everyone, making the much more alive and valuable than mob-characters and harem members.
