Tao is like most hated of the wives in MP fanbase. And Xue Yue did not have a very good start with YK either. Both of them where plastered on YK for plot sakes by momo. This fanfic is actually gonna doing YK great service by taking them away(not much of Xue but Tao is good riddance for YK).

He should rather embrace this new life of his as Su Mu as a second chance given by universe to him. Cause YK is gonna be dead soon so there is no point keep to think about the whole reincarnation thing. That way it would a story of profound Dual Cultivator and nothing to do with original YK timeline.
