I don't think star is a weak wolf. I think they have made her believe she is through the abuse and the talisman is making her appear weak but actually put on her to because they were scared of how strong she would be and so used a magical one to control her for uncle Howard and that's why she has got so much strength... it's already inside of her and as soon as the talisman is removed she will show her full strength.

The whole story has an element of Beauty and the Beast! 😂 It's been like Disney from the beginning. 😁

This is what I'm trying to work out!! If they are cousins, can werewolves mate with their cousins and it's not considered weird? (assuming I'm reading it correctly... mafia = werewolf rival packs, intense feelings = mating bond) Or are they just close family friends who call each others parents Aunty/Uncle? In which case, just get together already!!!! Also... when is Bella gonna turn 18 and realise she is mates with Xavier!? Need to keep reading... lol
