"The last thing I remember was having tea with grandmother and then there was this sudden pain in my chest after drinking the tea. I remember blood surrounding me," replied Calhoun, his eyebrows knitting together in concentration. "I was poisoned…"
Theodore looked at the trees that stood in front of him. He wondered if Calhoun would be able to make it on time to stop the execution. He wasn't scared of death as he had come to face death many times in the past. He wondered if today was the day where the edge that he enjoyed would be met to the point where there would be no return.
When Lucy had stepped outside, and in the corridor, Theodore could hear the sob that escaped Lucy's lips, and he felt his heart shake. The smile on his face fell, and his eyes that looked bright in front of the princess turned dull.
"Don't worry about him. I have cut hundreds of fingers so far. And it isn't like I do it for amusement," seeing Penny stare at him, he corrected the sentence, "Not most of the time at least," a smile finally falling on his lips.
"Fucking wet water," Barron cursed along with the cotton body he was in and he tried hard to get up, but with the force he used, the rabbit instead of sitting still, it fell down to the ground from the first floor, "You must be joking!" Barron cursed further as the place he fell was surrounded in wet mud because of the rain and his coat was muddy again.
"Making way to the great fourth Grim of cards," Barron harrumphed and he swung his legs that was going to take a lot of time to dry. The problem right now was that, if he tried to squeeze the water out from his leg, his hands would end up getting soaked in water, "Ha, I am so tired," he leaned back a little but the water behind his back was too much that had him fall right on the ground.
Belle who had returned back to their mansion with Lucas and Barron finally sighed, seeing how Barron had gone to the bathroom, pulling the curtain so that no one would disturb him.
"What?" asked the reaper as if it hadn't realized what just happened. That it was no more in the rabbit, "I am out of the rabbit! It must be because I am back in the land of the dead now. And then they heard the howls of the hellhounds getting closer, "Fuck, they are able to smell me better," he quickly slipped into the rabbit and started to run towards her.
One man's envy and revenge had turned like a domino effect where he lost the remaining people who he had come to care for. His chest felt empty at the thought of it.
"I need you to follow a man. He has an eyepatch on one of his eyes. His hair is black and he's considerably old and friendly. Follow councilman Creed and deal with him as you always do," Lord Nicholas continued to look at the abyss of the white snow which was around him. If there was one thing he wouldn't risk, it was family.
