It could be a evolution mechanic where 100- then evo, also, we don't really know the number of killed, especially with that flare sun, not to mention that his growth may be boosted by something.

yeah but it's an assist class, It helps predict, But it doesn't give much raw power, even if you know whats gonna happen, you need power to stop it(like a fireball hurling toward you), clavioryant probably doesn't have much in the way of combat oriented abilities, It may increase int, but grant no spells, Stuff like that.
She was near level 50, and it was evident that she was no empty minded scholar either, for though one of her subclasses as clairvoyant was not too combat oriented, her other subclass as geomancer gave her more than enough combat ability to hold her own. - sword_21893yrCommented

maybe its an intent thing but your right, shadow is supposed to slow time, so even if it slowed a 180 kmps bullet to a 1 inch per hour, it would still act like a 180 kmps bullet, minus the speed

True, unfortunately it didn't factor in his speed or defense, else this would've been a good counter
And it was something that the body of Nicholas the Renegade could testify clearly. After all, unlike every other Skill Tree in SAO, none of the Infinite Spear Skills actually needed the weapon to TOUCH the enemy to inflict damage. It was the projected 'aura' of the Skill which reduced the enemies' HP.
