Thank you for pointing that out. I wasn't even thinking of the councilman. LoL.
This was a heartbreaking chapter. My heart broke for Penny and even cried that she had witnessed her father being murdered by own mother. I was hoping Penny's father had survived somehow and was still living. I can't wait for her mother to get what she deserves.
I thought the same thing. Black witches are supposed to sense and recognize a white witch when they see one. So why didn't all these black witches recognized Penny as a white witch then!? That doesn't make any sense unless maybe she masked herself from them or something, but then again she can purified the air around her that could've masked her as well...
This has been on my mind throughout the story... I think it's extremely unfair for the white witches that if they use self defense by killing the other person who's trying to kill them or another person esp when it's an innocent person, that they would start to get traits of a black witch. If white witches didn't do it for protection or self defense, they would be the ones who were killed or the person that was getting protected. Wished something was done about this cause it's not fair at all...
Even though those who were corrupted in the household families that were part of the alignment of stars died from it or those they killed cause of it, there are still survivors that didn't get corrupted or died cause of it. So technically they didn't kill the entire household of families. This stupid councilwoman would've know there were still survivors from the families with the alignment of stars. So how was that killing everyone when there are survivors!? The councilwoman and the black witches didn't even know who was part of the alignment with the stars and that's the reason for targeting the families. Just because certian people in the household was corrupted and died or killed doesn't mean they were part of the alignment of stars. I can see why they are labeled as stupid and not wise!!... How did they even know which families' household would have person with the alignment of stars!? Did I miss or overlook that part?...
What's the point of the white witches getting the elements bestowed upon them if it's going to lead to becoming a black witch!? These elements are for white witches to get but doesn't make sense what-so-ever if that's going to happen them! It's pointless to even have them then! The white witches that does come across the knowledge of having element ability within them has to get the help of a black witch in the first place to summon their element if it chooses to come, but if they do get the ability bestowed upon them, it will lead to becoming a black witch themselves. A black witch can't possess the elements so why even bestow the white witches with their element ability if it's going to lead them to the forbidden magic and causing them to turn into a black witch!?...
It was said that the wind element was blind now it's saying he could see Penny and even Caitlin. Did I read something wrong!?... Also, it was said before that the water element's name was Seira/Siera, but now it's saying her name is Sally. So which name is she supposed to go by!?...
Don't you mean half-vampire!? LoL.
The calculations with the number of people who are left is wrong. It was said there was 9 other candidates besides the 3 of them, but when they left the latest discovery of bodies, they should've been down to 6 suspects & then down to 5 with the next body they came across. However when the black witches appeared, there was 4 of them plus the human they were holding captive which makes 5 but then Helen comes out from behind the tree to make 6... Maybe I misread something but that's how I'm reading it & I even read over it multiple times...
