Appreciate the LOTR tribute chapter as a huge fan! One fact that I would like to add is that Middle Earth was created as a reflection of a clash of song between Melkor and the other Angels, with the results of the different musical clashes predestining the results of the wars and battles of good and evil before they even happen. As a result of this is was destined that Evil would ultimately be defeated through "the rippling of soft and sweet notes" which represents the hobbits and their struggle along with the sad and arduous journey that is taken to defeat Sauron. The intervention of Jay goes implicitly against the nature of the entire world as a reflection of the heavenly music which I believe should result in some disastrous consequence for either the world and its foundation or Jay. To conclude this thought I have to say that this is an expression of my feeling of duty to express my almost never used obscure knowledge and not criticism of this chapter, I loved it and all manner of things could have happened here (Future god Jay intervening in the background to ensure his survival by defeating Iluvitar, or this being some weird ultimate timeline), either way thanks for the chapter and sorry for making you read this long comment!
