everyone is jumping on Alex but did robbie ever actually try to explain himself? she believes she saw him kissing a guy and instead of explaining what was actually happening he just said its not what you think. its his own business and if he doesn't want to share it thats fine but he can't expect her to understand in that case. what the readers need to realise is we have far more information than Alex does. she only has what he says and does to go on unlike us as well also get to see what he's thinking. everytime he makes a move on her, he then claims its an experiment or a joke and that she shouldn't flatter herself so much. up until this point I would have said the miscommunication is partially Alexs fault because she never explained why she thought he's gay, but now that she has his refusal to explain anything means she should not be expecting her to understand what is going on
