Manohar is without question the best character and I honestly can't bear the thought of losing him

I started reading this expecting a fairly standard isekai op mc story but this was way better than I expected. The story of Derek and how it ties into Lith's existence was surprising and a nice change from "hit by a truck". Lith's cold demeanor is well complimented by Solus's optimism. One complaint would be that Lith cynicism is always proven right which paints a rather bleak view of the humans of this world but does overall add to the dark vicious cutthroat nature of mages and the study of magic. But the depth and detail described in the study and use of magic is exceptional and absolutely amazing. I love stories about the research of magic and Lith's studies are some of my favorite chapters. The characters are all well fleshed out and amazing and very interesting even side characters with Manohar being one of if not my favorite character. Every thing is done exceptionally and the pace is great the plot is mildly unpredictable but we're given enough hints and details to make twists not completely surprising. it's an amazing work and I can't wait to read more
