I see what they did there...
That's why Mulak's tower was full of hints about the true nature of the tower and the world beyond it. He wanted someone like our MC to emerge from the tower. Could also be why there were the Nightmare (fake time travel) stones and why the demon needed MCs permission to end the tower.
What an awesome line.
Commenters having a short memory already forgot all he did was fighting for the last 30 years. Guy is messed up.
This is interesting. As far as we know, they must have all passed the tutorial, yet only one of them has adapted, which really just goes to show how easy the tutorial is. To win on his own, even against the intended boss, our MC had to endure for years and achieve never before seen heights, yet these guys didn't even do one adaptation.
I at first assumed that his suspicion skill would probably only work in the nightmare tower, because of how it was stated that it was old and had deprecated systems. But now it appears that he has really gained deeper insight into the fabric of (actual) reality, since his tower skills are gone but not his suspicion. I'm interested in how this will continue, if the theme of carving out your own path will remain, being explored as strongly as up until now.
Hello Schneizel el Britannia.
Ah yes, the cultural bridge that can connect all of existence. Beer.
I just ended up reading this dumb reply again and now I randomly feel like answering. Small talk is bad story telling, but proper English. Twitter posts are bad story telling but proper English. Bloody textbooks are bad story telling, but proper English. BAD STORY TELLING DOES NOT EQUAL IMPROPER ENGLISH (use of language) And this argument isn't even what my original comment was about Don't try to lecture someone when you have this little of an idea of what you are talking about.
Amen.
I am not talking about broken English. It's all about expression and especially well thought through expression. So many Light Novels just read like long rambles to me and I mean even the ones that get recommended a bunch. But this one doesn't. Not because they are using fancy words or some shit but because it reads well.
I imagine a scene where he just waits for what must feel like an eternity for the hit to finally land.
