The length of each chapter will increase from 700 to a minimum of 1500. It'll start at the end of the first year. The (P)-(a)-(t)-(r)-(e)-(o)-(n) is ahead a good deal.

Flashbacks and early life chapters will be introduced. As you've said, it's just too early in the story.

As for how the expulsion works, that will be revealed too.
