LOL I mean all true right? It is strange and worth questioning the whole set up. All I can think is Isis has ambition and is probably greatly respected by her father and peers. Although women aren't educated in an academy, they seem to never the less have some position in society and in influencing each other and their families. As being the daughter of a powerful family and probably with the current Duke backing her, she is promising to the politically powerful aristocratic faction that she will keep them in power, keep them rich, etc. Things the actual crown prince isn't giving them. I do think it's hilarious that they seemingly put all their eggs into Isis's basket. They don't really go into how their supposed future engagement came to be. It seems like except for the opportunities that the crown prince was given in this time like he would have married her. It's obvious that this shouldn't have been the case if any of those people you point to had made different decisions or realized their own power.
Sorry! Chapter 28 not 25!
Excerpt from Chapter 25: "...men began courtship by giving flowers that matched the seal of the woman’s family, and received a handkerchief embroidered with the seal of the man’s family from the women in return." Therefore, that's why Mielle always received lillie's from Oscar etc. And why it was such a big deal that Aria copied Mielle from the past and made a hankerchief with the rose of House Frederick and gave it to Oscar.
LOL the term FACT based rumours 😂😂😂. I love it!
Oscar was the first (well maybe second) to have her exposed to Isis. Before she was a blott to a noble family with which she would be connected. To the second her brother and pawn fell for her. If was a a more daring man, she would have called for her death and misfortune sooner. She didn't go after her seriously as a playing card to control her brother. But the crown princes involvement changed all that. Now she was a fly she really really wanted to swat and Mielle being younger and more stupid than the first time was given a task she was very much not up to do. She didn't have the same confidence as before - Aria did not live up to people's terrible expectations for her.v
Why look for her? what are you doing to do when you find her? Have her finish the job? You think she'll willingly come back and do it? or fess up and turn herself in and take the fall? HA
If I was Mielle (and if Mielle had a more cunning brain), I would try another poisoning attempt ASAP. I wouldn't hire another maid to do it, but either done it myself or had Emma do it. Try to find a way to poison Aria's food or drink when no one else was paying attention and finish her off. Everyone right now thinks/knows it was Berry. So if she were to suddenly die, it could be chocked up to be a result of her succumbing to the original poisoning.
What a snake. Never gave Sara the time of day or even the amount of regular respect during the times they were in the same room, and now she wants to form an acquaintance? GTFO
Yep!! Glad you finally realized it
😈😈😈
LOL like he would ever get in his boss's way
Yeah, no. Turns out money itself isn't enough to make you happy automatically
I don't think he can or would. And obviously before Aria went back in time she makes it clear that those two did get married and that Isis did have a lot of power. Ultimately this isn't a dictatorship even if there is an emperor. Which means there are still political factions etc, and currently the most powerful faction us made up of the aristocrats of which isis holds a lot of influence. You could say the marriage between the two is a political one where the monarchy is obviously trying to not lose too much power by having the crown prince marry this woman in the hopes for continued unity and prosperity
I think what people said makes sense, but in addition I think that being the betrothed already means she might be considered the crowned "princess".
I think the queen probably does have some duties. In addition it seems like the aristocratic faction has a lot of power in this world, and she is at the pinnacle of the group. The king therefore although king can't just have his way when powerful and wealthy constituents have some clout
Well she doesn't know his actual role or power. She feels like he might be a dangerous person, so it might not be a leap to speculate he might have had something to do with the firework event at the festival. The big question of course is why which even we have no idea about .
I mean she is a Lady Roscent though. The problem is her name is Aria and not Mielle
😤😡! Sara is literally the most decent person in this while story. I hate seeing her looked down upon. But I guess she'll have the ability in the future to have people regret not knowing her and respecting her better.
Even without knowing who she was it was still rude now to say anything.
