Author, I feel you need further education on what consentual *** entails. whether or not someone walks into a room with intention of *** is irrelevant. one requires the opportunity to say yay/nay to the sexual act and must be awake. the one way this could have been consensual was if he said "are you happy with me initiating *** when you are asleep" and IF she had said "yes" in that agreement. please do not confuse any of your young readers who may be in the age bracket of 18-early 20s with little sexual experience with your dangerous thought process of what you think is rape/isn't rape. as someone who works for child services and also has a lot of involvement in such cases, this act would be deemed as rape by many professionals. I hope you DO NOT hold this mentality in your later stories and if you do, please understand this would be classed as a non consensual scene. rape does not have to be a violent act. it comes in different ways/forms. if you wish to write the scenes like this that's fine, but please don't 'educate' your readers incorrectly as you are an author, not a professional on these matters.
