Ikr I'm really liking this book so far but Tiana is killing me. The chapters when she was just meditating and had no intervention in the plot were like bliss. There is a way to do romance where it is enjoyable and doesn't just seem forced and fake. There is a way to do female characters who are actually intriguing and have an actual personality and not just damsel in distress and/or Tsundere (which is just being straight up rude Idk why some people find it cute). And there most Definitely is a way to portray realistic and healthy relationships. Unfortunately most of these miss the mark on these topics and it's probably the main reason they get dropped for most people, no matter how good the plot is. I know the author has heard more than enough criticism on Tiara but I just don't understand the point of her character and what value she brings to the story. She gives off the feeling of when you're a teenager and your parents force you to take your younger siblings along while going to a friend's birthday party. In the end you just end up babysitting and can't even enjoy your friend's company and will probably kill the vibe since now everything will need to be PG for the kid. And you want me to believe and see this child as a potential love interest to the MC? Not happening. At this point it would be too difficult to redeem her character, there is just too much of a bad taste left in so many peoples' mouths from her.

Bruh there is no way either of them would be that trusting right off the bat, especially since that is the very reason he died in the first place and she is getting actively harassed by some guy. It makes no sense, let alone how she 'caught feelings' just by someone being ever so slightly nice to her, that is just not how life works.

It's pretty logical if you think about it. He hasn't been evaluated this entire time so he wouldn't know his Elemental Warrior power level for certain and by proxy we wouldn't either. Heck even what the miners said was a guess and from battling beasts there was no higher level to fully test his limits. It wouldn't make sense for him to suddenly be able to pin point his power level without any evaluation (since it's based on how much he can take from an elemental sorcerer). + Since he practically hopped, skipped and jumped to the psychic realm before his physical strength caught up (presumably) it messed up the order and became harder to figure out just where he was on the scale. For elemental sorcerers the stages are more defined, based on hitting certain milestones, so it'll probably be easier for us to tell from now on.

I'm not sure but I think they just didn't have that fish in the pond. Seeing as the Valley Master needed to go to a different group just to get a specific elemental sensing fish that was not on hand in the Thunder-Fire Valley they might not have had the black crystal's elemental fish in what I'm assuming is a common grade (or at least not high grade) affinity examination pond with only the common elemental sensing fish from the description.

I'm really liking this a lot and I appreciate the time skip. It showed us that he indeed works very hard instead of just saying it and then giving him an immediate handout.
