Pocket watches were invented in the 16th century. Please learn to use google instead of going all "yeah, I'm big brain" criticizing books when you're uncultured.
witches and warlock are VERY different depending on the lore. It's definitively not the male equivalent of a witch.
yes, that's what the Quill of Alzuhod is
I mean, that's fair. I thought you were one of those that thought taxes just existed for nothing, but yeah, sorry for that. I don't like paying taxes either, so here we go haha
The roads you use, schools, healthcare, infrastructure, where do you think public projects get their funding from? .
Fay doesn't always inclide elves. It depends heavily on the author and magical system.
Opium that was sold by England, obviously.
It was opium, yes. China surrendered multiple cities to britain to stop the war that followed their initiative to dump opium in the sea.
I don't like writing reviews because I always feel like I'm somewhat misleading people because my english isn't very good, but this book deserves the 5* so I don't care. I haven't laughed as much as I did when reading this book for a long time, it's monstrously hilarious. I'm not a fan of R-18 scenes, in general, but Ben is a fun enough character to make me actually enjoy them. He's the kind of character that makes me smile widely while making me feel like stomping him into paste if I ever get the chance. It's unfortunate I can't try the dating tips, even if just for the laughs, with me living in a religious country and all that jizz, but it has the smell of experience and I like authors that know what they're writing about. The release rate is also so fast it makes my broke ašs despair. Reading 3 chapters of this book had become my daily routine for a moment now, and I felt I could write this review now that I got far enough (A bit after the "wholesome" Katie chapters). I love this book, keep up the good work fellow dog-lover.
Schrodinger would be proud
Ah yes a shonen is less predictable than seinens and such. Please don't speak of mangas when you only know of the mainstream shit (naruto's story is pretty much bullcrap). It's a medium just as devlopped as novels. Otaku and weebs are cringe, not mangas or animes.
They're not in good condition. Their food and water supplies are barely enough to keep their bodies working, that's not what I would call ideal for long-distance travelling by any means.
The author is French, and "Wolf Play" is a bit like a direct translation of "Le jeu du loup", which is the french equivalent of tag. So here we go. Have a nice read.
Maybe, but not for dead bodies :x
The difference is this huge. They aren't just parting ways, but are literally each in their own world. Unlimited potential, supernatural abilities, the fact that Chen holds the USB is enough to put him dozens of levels higher than his fellow schoolmates. So the wording isn't wrong in this sentence.
It can be "injected", not "transmitted". I don't know if the translator chose this wording consciously, but the two words mean two different things.
I feel unsafe.
Science, in a way, is just the pursuit of a tangible truth that revolves around "facts". Even if it's something outside of our universe, it's still within the scope of scientific study. The only problem is just that we need much much more time to find more answers and much much more resources that we don't have to work on such matters. Not even talking about how humanity always finds a way to go on a weird tangent of war, crises, and disbelief. If souls exist and we have whatever means to study them, they are confined within the scope of science. "the Occult arts and sciences", people (even "practitioners", if their claims are real) give it this name for a reason. To sum it up, science is just the pursuit of the truth, and that's it. Nothing more.
If you help someone it should be from kindness, not because you are expected to be. If you give your seat to a 90 y'o it's simply because you're a good person, not because it's "ridiculous", "preposterous" or whatever if you don't.
