The information he'd obtained wasn't much and it pretty much matched what Cassius said. Now he had to find out the truth for himself. After all he only had a few hours to call Cassius back and confirm their deal. If Zara isn't the necromancer the deal is off. Cassius will not help fight against Ferox. If that happens he'll have to face Ana and tell her he'd lied. The deal wasn't exactly set. He couldn't believe how quickly she guessed Cassius wanted more than spells.
