amahisa3yrPostedone hell of a ride... the novel itself is a really enjoyable ride from start to finish. it offers a really unique take on the cliche “readers entering their favourite novel’s universe” thing. worldbuilding is spectacular, the plot is EPIC, and the characters are great. i enjoyed every single minute i spent reading this novel. one thing that is quite lacking is the translation quality, esp in the beginning because some sentences are clearly translated too literally. but overall this is an amazing read, and i will recommend this to everybody out for a good time!

this is extremely wild. but very on brand with jonghyuk’s personality. he is the one who truly shines in the middle of scenarios. the true fighter and the strongest incarnation ever. he finished his fulfilling life with a family and friends he loves but he cant simply settle down like that until his death. he wants to seek more of what this world has to offer. he is curious, he wants to find out about what lies beyond what he sees. he wants to understand everything. thus he left his peaceful life and became the regressor jonghyuk, because thats his calling, thats his purpose and thats what makes him feel alive. and dokja is there to accomodate his wishes. man, i never thought this is how we get to find out about jonghyuk’s mysterious sponsor. and how everything that makes jonghyuk “jonghyuk” is all related to dokja. just like how jonghyuk saved dokja countless times during his childhood, dokja too becomes a foundation to who jonghyuk truly is.

not a grammar error, the term “cotton on” does exist, you can look for it on cambridge dictionary online. it should be “cotton on to” instead of “cotton onto” though
