Follow up: I checked one of the latest (currently unlocked) chapters and saw a similar complaint (mc is dumb,learns nothing). Because of this I’m doubting the novel actually getting better at all at any point in the future and will no longer hold out hope. Have a nice day everyone, I don’t understand how you enjoy this.

Oh man I just can’t with this. Made it to chapter 5, expecting it to get at least somewhat decent but man it just goes on and on with these tropes and cliches and this idiotic mc lucking out on plot armor. It’s not a good sign when the reader gets more enjoyment out of reading the comments to paragraphs instead of reading the actual story. I’ll drop this before I have a stroke. Someone who actually read the later chapters, please tell me; does it get better? If so, when?

Yes, because we all know snakes cannot attack you when you are not in a forest and in a rocky/bushy terrain. Snakes are not creatures that stay close to the ground, what are you talking about?
