There will ALWAYS be exceptions... but don't you see examples of powerful and intelligent women everyday? accepting rape as something normal doesn't bother you? the core force of my family was always moved by the women, from extreme poverty to a better life, fighting not only for themselves but giving all of them to the next generation. So many examples, so much strength, so selfless... so unrecognized. I knew that my opinion would not be well received, but I had to take this out of my chest and I had this slim home that others would feel the same.

that's not the point, but let's go there. After the addition of Jake's cousins and after one of the princesses progress on the second ordeal... well, chimpanzees are stronger than me but with the resources and guidance of a superior advanced alien technology I think I'd be able to form a plan and scape an encounter. All these women had to do was to ask for a path that could improve the situation. ok, we could argue that they are so contidioned to suffer abuse and they think that's life... but the males changed their behavior, they evolved (even if they are still dumb). It bothers me that these women just stagnated... why?

I don't think that's fair. If dumb males were capable of improvement why the much more smarter women didn't adapt to their new reality? why didn't they also improve? why in this novel women are frequently portrayed as weak, manipulative, childish and sexual assault victims? I'm sorry but this makes me really frustrated and sad

a bit insecure about writing my thoughts here but well... I like this story too much. I love OP characters and always knew Jake was going to get there. but these last chapters made me a bit worried that Jake's personality is going to change too much. it takes a lot of courage and strength to believe in people. specially in this crazy, violent new world. His companions (he really avoids the word friends hahaha) are extremely important and interesting! I'd love to see the whole group grow together. To see Tim, a child growing in this world. Will joining his business mind with Jake and building an empire. Sarah maturing as a person and as a warrior. the sillyness with crunch and even Kyle, coward as he is but even so he keeps trying. anyway, Ark you're great and your story is one of my favorites. Can't wait to see where you are taking us! [img=recommend]
