Please develop in what way I may be wrong, I understand that it's possible for my statement to not be true, but I'd at least like to know more about your stance on my aforementioned paragraph.

well, it’s kinda new to not have a protagonist that hides every of his skills until revealing them thousands of chapter later. but this isn’t so bad if you think about it. (hoping that it actually doesn’t turn bad)

So for your first question my best guess would be that it doesn’t see him as the “devil” we know of but sort of like a “predator” eyeing it’s prey with a smile, which the goblin can consider as the “devil” and most if not all creature has the instinct to identify and flee if something is a potential danger for them. For your second question I don’t remember the author mentioning that they are creature of low intelligence, a bit earlier in this chapter the goblins were said to speak and even shout curse words in their language, which means that they are intelligent enough to assign words to objects. They do have an understand about the world around them, they made huts, some kind of village and even organize groups of goblins to patrol the fortress. In conclusion they must have also enough intelligence to attribute a title to higher powers. I’m guessing you thought that these were your typical dumb goblin (which is something that can happen to inexperienced readers) but do remeber that every fiction is not the same. If i’m wrong anywhere feel free to correct me.
One of the goblins, who was holding a blowgun in his hand, looked away in fright and saw a strange human coming out of a bush with a strange flame dancing in his hand. For the little goblin, the appearance of that strange human itself was not at all threatening, but added to the flame that floated in his hand and the small sadistic smile that the human had on his face, the only word that crossed the small goblin's mind was... Indeed, it adds a bit of life in the story compared to the classic side character that is obsessed with trying to make things hard for the protagonist.

Ah yes, considering pride in a life and death situation, to probably leave your sister to death too, very logical. Dude he is the “descendant” of Lucifer, not Lucifer. He may have some similarities in his personality but he is a different person. And without blessing what do you expect him to do? Logically fight and tactically retreat or fight while considering pride and having a chance to get destroyed by some random E rank monsters... Sometime people criticize/comment on stories without using their brains, think before you type shit.
As Noah did not have a real Blessing for the first 4 years of his being Blessed, he was practically forced to learn to fight with knives and swords to defend himself. So after he received the [Hell Flames] ability, he stopped being a warrior/assassin and became something like a Magic Assassin. Since he always had a preference for shorter blades and faster logical reasoning, Noah always used this to ambush or escape with great agility in his invasions. - Nyth3yrReplied to Mus69
In my opinion this paragraph was okay, even necessary. We are still at the “beginning” of the story and the author is still building our main character. He (the protagonist) was shown to speak arrogantly and with an insulting behavior towards the people that his uncle sent, so people that treated him and his family badly, now the author reveals us another aspect of our protagonist, a more calm and respectful side of him that he shows only with people that aren’t ill willed towards him. The author here writes it with a proverb so people aren’t confused or to make the story flow better. Hope what I wrote is readable, i’m not a native english speaker so it may seem weird but it should still be understandable.

She was worried about his safety, and also that his father probably had teached him magic without her knowing.

That’s true, it’s definitely better to give kids more motivation than to make them feel inferior and insignificant. Motivation can really help a lot (speaking from experience).
In fact, because of how dim the third small orb was, Kalo should have been considered a level 2 Earth Element User. But the Tribe elders always added a level as long as the next small orb was lit even a little bit. That was to help the kids to have more confidence in their abilities. 'She must be a hero, but again to have such authority over these military men, she must be a famous one, at least S rank… Which makes no sense, There aren't much S ranks in the world and I've researched them all but… I've never seen her before. It's like she popped out of nowhere. Does this mean that she is hidden by the government?' Alex was confused. He, being a super fan of heroes, knew all the S rank heroes but never saw her before. It was a surprise for him.
