I think the antidote gave her some ability to harness and i dont believe Raphael is dead bc it has been stated its hatd to kill upper level demons. I feel like this was a test For Beth’s part in changing who her character is. I mean Jennine is like the energizer bunny and keeps going....

Amazing writing, give the novel a chance Because you will be hooked and you wIll not be able to put the story down. The mystery,depth of characters, and storyline will have you sitting at the edge of your seat. The characters slowly interact with one another creating suspense in just about every chapter as the story continues. You WILL NOT regret spending your time on this well written story.

Question: we as the reader know that Vlad is from Belmont but the characters are not aware as of yet who he is and what Vlad is the Maddie and Cal. I can only believe the souL bond that has formed with Maddie and Cal will be enough for him to locate her.

It’s great to see how intune Calhoun is to Madeline and her changes when it comes to her “angel” abilities. Knowing exactly that when she faints her abilities heighten and she shouldn’t be touched. While her sneaky Aunt tries to swipe her fingers. tsk tsk. If you didnt know before Calhoun is on to you...

As far as Calhoun has been portrayed, he knows everything around him even when we the reader have no idea. Theodore has always been by Calhouns side. Now that we know Calhoun sent Theodore to find Aunt Mary, maybe he is playing double agent to her on Calhouns orders... just a thought.

Calhoun asked Theo a while back to invite her Aunt Mary to the wedding. As far as I can tell she has yet to make an appearance in the story. Now, the last chapter just stated that Theodore for a vampire, his bruises had yet to heal when Lucy came to tend to his face. She said to herself how “odd” that was. I am wondering.......
