i know as a royal there are going to be many secrets that outsiders wont ever know. i know he doesnt want to scare her away but how is madeline supposed trust calhoun if he doesnt be completely honest with her? in the same vein, how can calhoun trust madeline if she isnt open and honest about some of her feelings? honesty and trust go hand-in-hand and is a two-way street.
