🤷♂️ eat them? he ate the crystals why not the cores. he can still absorb soul essence like he did on the testing machine but he thinks he cant cores cause hes "not awakened" but even the status says he is and told him he took in the soul energy but he never looked into it. the author said he couldnt absorb cores but he has taken in soul energy so it just doesnt make any sense. tryn to hard to mirror sunnys inability to take soul crystals, but no actual reason like why sunny cant. just forced story plot. like the idea was good execution and edits failed the story line. honestly the random lore drop that counters past lore drop and dragging stuff out feels like a stall. think they rushed into putting the story up, and they didn't map it out well. like i feel it has great potential but its just missing the mark.

how does he know? hes never tried and gained it from the test machine so why cant he from cores? his system seemed happy to get it from any source. seems forced and a lot of recent contradictions

didnt it say cores are only in the ones that leave the gates because they become part of Ul? swear it said cores could only be gained in Ul and that soul essence could only be gained from kill in the rift, why people go in to kill but those that dont get money fro. killing outside for cores and can use them to gain some essence.

i mean it did. 15/19 was the range some early some late, but it said all did awaken around then. even the ones that left a rift become part of this world and awaken. it was very clear on that. so the only unawakened should be children. however maybe the author changed it to fit shadow slave more and forgot to edit the part where everyone is awaken at sometime around 15/19

nightmare, the gates open when the seeds bloom, if no one enters and closes them they just keep invading. once beatn they can rank up.
However, both clans would be feverishly seeking suitable Gates in East Antarctica, without doubt ambushing and slaughtering each other in the process. Army patrols and the infrastructure of the evacuation corridors could very well become collateral damage in their clashes. the option is to not be a fugitive anymore. so atticus can either stop the old royals rebellion or side with it and put a new leader on the throne and lose the title of fugitive. maybe even take over but that be a bit much.
