Agree. Trying to figure out how one dhampir can have exponential and unlimited power growth based on her foe, but all other dhampirs were wiped out throughout history by vampires. And now, dhampir have that power growth for any demon like creature. SUch inconsistency
Yes. Vacations are planned events. If you have loyal readers and know you’re not going to be releasing much, tell us early and often so we don’t waste money on privilege. Of course then he won’t get that money… This has happened over and over since he started getting popular. But it’s way worse now
…could be a deep cervix too…
If the other author you’re referring to is legion? With supreme magus? He literally told everyone to stop buying privelege until he gave an update. He didn’t change the goal post constantly. And he wasn’t ’buying a house’ which, as a real estate developer and investor, I can tell you is about as passive an activity as there is. Legion had an actual health issue and was very direct and straight with his readers, telling us not to pay him until he’s able to produce. Then got right back to his normal 2 a day when he was better. Never missed.
If you were paying attention he actually said he’d be moved by 3/4 and chapters would go back to 3 per day. But you must be relatively new bc he’s done this before, just didn’t take as long to get back to normal. Must be the awards and recognition. And with regards to some of your other comments, moving to a different country is tough. For a week. Then most of us go back to full time jobs. And yes, with a wife (who could be alleviating whatever fantastical burden he must be under) and pets (not sure the relevancy) and some of us even have multiple kids *gasp*. I’ve never seen someone so personally insulted on behalf of someone they don’t know. Someone who is being criticized fairly for not living up to commitments he has consistently made on his own behalf. If he has writers block, fine, just say so. But you don’t need a house to write, it’s probably the easiest career to continue from anywhere at anytime
Right. We are paying for privilege. One of the most expensive privileges that I know of on the site, due to the consistent promise that we’d get 3 a day and mass releases. People have spent a significant amount of money on a story that’s fun to read. But we are still consistently misled on the authors return to work timeline. If it was free, I wouldn’t care. If this wasn’t the 4th time this has happened, I wouldn’t care. But please stop pretending the author’s inability to manage the most very basic aspects of his personal life should mean I should feel good about being consistently fleeced. We all have moved, its not like he’s spending all day physically building his house.
Yeah, but you’re wrong. There were multiple that promised back to normal by early march. Then a couple more weeks bc of a delayed flight (?), then a few more weeks to find a place…the overexaggerated dramatics for everyday happenings would be funny if I didn’t keep spending money on privelege bc I believed the promises.
Lol. Not sure if you’ve been around since the beginning, but it’s been a different issue every few months. His job at a school had issues, then he moved, then had issues with his move, then moved again. Then events for Webnovel it’s pretty standard
Yeah. This is the crux of my problem. I don’t care how many chapters are put out. But if an expectation is set, and people are spending their money based on that expectation, it should be honored, or at least acknowledged that it won’t be met the next month
I buy property all the time. Closing takes a while but very little of that time actually requires the buyer to do anything. It’s just passive waiting. This rolling promise to get back to normal has been going on for months. Months of people spending money on privelege
