I don't like that concept either but its entirely different if you hide your power but also know when to come out so you won't be treated as trash or a stepping block and not necessarily to beat the genius but to avoid trouble. I don't see the point of going about showing off that your strong that literally the path to defeat.

I find it funny that theses characters are old but very strong but have their moments when they complain about their old bones.
