You are right that a shadow is follow rain; however, in chapter 1614 after Nephs wonderful phrasing sunny talks how one of his two avatars stumbles. So he definitely got two avatars up.

I feel like alot of people aren't seeing just how much sunny is really doing during this fight. I mean, he's mostly focusing on studying Nephs battle style while also dodging or blocking all her attacks. All the while he's maintaining 2 different avatars, one of which is most likely maintaining the shop and possibly cooking, while the other watches over Rain. He's actively stated that he's only able to use his shadow senses and weight changing aspects of his battle style during this fight.He also has to make up for the difference between neph haveing all 7 of her cores fully saturated and his 6 cores. I don't think that just because Neph is using a worse technique doesn't make what sunny is doing any less impressive.

I really like this novel and hope to be able to read more of it. I think that the character interactions are smooth and flow well with one another, and I appreciate that the characters growth feel natural and not forced.

I think that this is an interesting idea for a main character. I hope to be able to see this novel reach great heights, because it would definitely be an interesting read.
