Alright, all I’m gonna say rn is that this chapter needs some heavy editing. Earlier , there was only an unnecessary repetition of an action.Now, it’s a whole passage.

He already settled down on a sofa five paragraphs before this one. And you wrote that Winter goes to where he was already sitting.So,we know that all this time he was seated and didn’t get up. Then why would he sit down again? Sorry, not trying to be mean. Just pointing it out for the ease of the author to find the mistakes when editing. :))
