Hey, to be fair, I do be out of shape. Also back in High School, for medical reasons i was underweight & didnt exercise much. I ate a metric ton, but thanks to a poor constitution & frequent nosebleeds, I never had enough nutrients to ever gain weight. That said, I hit sophmore year at a healthy weight due to not having PE thanks to being in Advanced Classes, put on muscle & got to the point by Senior year I was deadlifting 500lbs. So i have no doubt novel me will improve by leaps & bounds.

i hope this novel gets the recognition it deserves, it's wonderously delightful. it can be funny, it has awesome moments, betrayal, love, murder, and some great foreshadowing. What's not to like?

Ya know, with Emery having come across a lot of races lately, and him being friends with neutral Wood Elves, would it not make sense to have a few Half-Elves or even some Wood Elves joining the Academy?

im sure everyone is tired of my comments of "Moar" or some other variation. and yet it remains true. For i am a reading addict, we all know it. but to be fair, Avan's work is magnificent & im looking forward to the next chapters.

I have a foreboding feeling about the next ten chapters... i sense awkwardness & potentially danger.

Oh i foresee awkwardness in Emery's future. His daughter is gonna end up under his tutelage and Klea is gonna be there, things are gonna be so awkward. xD we're gonna be back to Early Academy-Days Awkward Emery again.
