So... Forgetting the questions of his uncle brought back... I have a theory about where and why our boy has gotten his second chance at everything. We know he didn't learn and forbidden spells or anything that could cause it. I suspect it was not an act if the gods either. They are rarely such caring types. I suspect that it was a last gift from his mad emperor. I think at some point he set it up so that when our boy died he would have a chance to live a happy life avoiding all the pain he had cause.
