It said the *Long Distance* spells he had were too dangerous, he has low level spells that are shorter ranged. Besides, its not very common for low level spells to have a lot of range.

Woo i love seeing RE: Monster fans. I totally agree tho, the author is not the best at writing, the best example is the “strong grandson” and “snake granfather” that appeared out of nowhere, were never named, and just caused confusion.

To be honest, Thats a really cool sounding reason for a curse. Like I could really imagine a game or something professional having that as a background.
