The non believer does good because they believe it to be the right thing to do. And I mean right is hard to define but if we take a utilitarian approach and use net happiness I feel that means more.

I can use this to mold her into a better minion, but sadly for her, the feelings she has for me won't be returned back, My teenage years were hell, teens are moody, think the world rotates around themselves and bitch a lot, and I'm not looking forward to spending any time with someone else other than Tetsuya. I think my point was that shiro doesnt derive sexual pleasure from torture meaning she enjoys torture and not a sadist, not whether or not there is a masochist involved.

It doesn’t spoil the experience as a whole like I said I do like this novel and I’ll keep reading it. The part that was rough was the princess interaction with the lustful gaze stuff and I’m not sure if this makes sense some of the descriptions were a lot of telling me things instead of showing me I know I just said like a high school English teacher but point still stands
