1. In the of Manga I honestly doubt him wearing them is not about training or anything that serious ,he was in his prime. If at that point he hasn't mastered the eyes then that defeats the whole point of his existence as a genius. I honestly think the author of the Manga just design his character that way so he has the cool transformation "Mc is serious now" so it stated. 2. Its a fanfic his powers should be perfect. You don't read about mc having sharingan and go blind. There is a fix or its perfected. There isn't any issue with powers but here with have a fabric that can contribute to his omni control eye. Are you serious? 3.Its looks stupid and btw him thinking its cool is a fine reason for his story.
