Though the feeding yourself to others is insane, and I guess at that point it gets a little morbid, though it isn't like he would be mind controlled, it's just that if he doesn't have to worry about his mortality he would be more free, so it's just his "true" personality coming to light when he doesn't really need anyone else for survival

But that's kind of what I meant, in that as he grows stronger still he has less need for the rest of society, even if that power comes from the falna. I actually read part of Ajin though that was years ago and I didn't finish it, but what I am saying is that no matter the source power reduces your need for others, which the mc will still gain through the fauna. And while the mc is the mc so he obviously won't die, if he was a real person accidents and betrayals happen, and you don't get to regret not taking the free immortality after your spinal column has been severed by some no name thug in your sleep

The reason of losing his humanity is kind of nonsense though as is his aversion to using it. If the way he acts changes from being immortal then it just shows that as himself without the binding of mortality. Not to mention it isn't even true immortality either, he would still die of old age etc... So his aversion to it is kind of dumb, it's not like it would affect him mentally, it's just power and continuing to use the fauna will also result in power, so any personality changes would still occurr, he would just be weaker...

Can I just ask and hope the author responds, will the gender bender ever stop, it adds nothing to the story and just makes it worse?

Every time the mc keeps gender bending for no conceivable reason and subjecting himself to this I just feel like dropping the story, there's no point to it being there at all. I'd find the mc being cheated on more palatable than this especially that it keeps on happening, like ffs people obviously hate it but it never stops, like I think 1 half to 1 third of all chapters with the mc have iim as a girl...why, just why., I actually think I'm dropping this for such a damn reason. It isn't funny, it's just disgusting at this point and I regret wasting so much time on this story tbh

Honestly I haven't finished reading till the last chapter but one thing that really annoyed me came up. Why, just why does the mc have to turn into a woman, there were so many obvious ways that situation could have been handled and that was what was chosen. No actual guy would ever do that, especially when it just wasn't necessary. To add on to that there have been negative comments about it, but the author just ignores them and its never been addressed. The genderbender tag could have been added and I would have never even touched this. To emphasise again, there's no point to it it's just there and I and a lot of other people just hate it, and the author seems adamant to just keep including it. Another comment said the mc was flirting with other guys when in that form which first of all almost made me throw my phone at my bedroom wall, though I can't confirm if that's true or not. That's what bugs me, when authors do this king of thing without any warning, like theee was one author on this site that revealed that the mc made himself a futa around chapter 25 or so which just made me drop. When something this nonsensical gets so much hate, why keep rubbing it in your readers faces,bthey obviously don't like it, I personally find it disgusting because I project myself onto the mc and the mc becoming a woman disgusts me personally. After reading over 40 chapters this feels like a slap to the face tbh. That's all I really have to say, overall the story was entertaining but the genderbend thing makes me really just want to stop reading completely and everytime it happens I feel my blood pressure rising . I'm just disappointed that such a dumb thing had to be shoved in is all
