Well the man has almost no emotion; not many people know what he has done and if they do they rely on him or have been there right beside him. He has had people try to fight back against his actions but he has killed them all. Later in the story he thinks back to the genocides he has committed and he doesn’t exactly look on them fondly.
Couldn’t lith just change it all to darkness? Or even just absorb it himself? I might be missing something but this seems like a terrible trap for lith.
Why would lith care? If it is a clear loss I’m sure he would join the empire and if not he would only fight for his benefits.
She can’t put 2 and 2 together? There are only so many demons.
According to the wiki lith is 45 (wiki is out of date so maybe add some years) I don’t think him calling the royals kids is far fetched considering their kid is about the age of his physical body and people have kids younger in mogar he is most likely their senior. For mogar non mage standards he is an old man.
A happy ending. Tyris getting involved is extremely unexpected I would have been surprised if she even got involved non directly. I am happy she did, though I am curious about the angle is it to stop Sarlark from wiping out a continent and a guardian or because she cares personally. I hope it is the latter.
Yes… I do not see why this matters.
Instead of literally you should use figuratively. Literally would mean they are actually a sword and shield. It is a common confusion of the word but often overlooked.
I always forget lith is technically in his 40s.
I agree with you but I mainly noticed this issue in later chapters. I can gloss over some overexplained stuff, but not when the author releases one chapter a month and doesn’t give any reason to the people paying to read. I dropped the book because the author’s shitty schedule appeared during one of the overexplained chapters. I wish you good luck finding a good book with consistency I personally favor supreme magus.
Not really in America while Asians aren’t the majority they aren’t strange to see.
Fournier isn’t very descriptive for the us. I guess it could work but I saw a monk speaking mandarin today it’s not really that uncommon. It would certainly narrow it down, but probably should have added more info like Chinese or Asian.
They determine he is an enemy leader right off the bat?
I want to be angry and say this isn’t true, but I would be lying to myself and you.
He doesn’t have any major factions to worry about that we know of though. Also he is stronger than when he left ha just dominated a world of third order monsters. I think if nothing new comes up he will take over China with relative ease. He still has to take over the rest of the world.
