Make your name count. If you've read RI, the least you should know is that killing is just a means to an end, benefits rule all, what would he gain by killing the child? Can any benefit be obtained? Then kill. Can no benefit be gained from him dead? So let live. That's the difference between being pragmatic or insane
I kept reading I wanted to know if the author could do worse, and he did. The MC got naked and was whipped while everyone threw trash at him, he was almost executed for his arrogance while talking to the Emperor, and the worst is yet to come, after all the MC remains a fanatic for Rome. The author is transferring his masochistic tendencies to the MC, it's practically self-sabotage.
I really wanted to know what goes on in this author's mind. The world building, the plot, the stability of the novel is spectacular, so when you start to like the story the author can screw it up. The personality of the MC is simply irritating and disappointing, the MC has below average intelligence, is a hypocrite, retarded, as well as being a fucking Rome fanatic ''If Rome falls, I will accompany her to death''. Do you think it's over? Finally, he is in love with a slave, but he can't have sex because his mother has forbidden the slave, the MC IS A ROMAN GENERAL, BUT THE MOTHER FORBIDDEN THE SLAVE TO HAVE SEX WITH THE MC, THE MC EVEN SACRIFICED HIS POLITICAL CAREER FOR THAT SLAVE . I really don't know who rates this story such a high rating, it's very clueless...
The novel has potential, but left a lot to be desired. The world building, plot and stability are excellent, but the mc's personality can make anyone angry, and disappointed. The MC is cowardly, dense, arrogant and has below average intelligence. He only stays with other women if his girlfriend allows, always asking permission for everything, went from a character who was suspicious of everything, and had personality to a Japanese beta. I want to read about a wild and free MC doing what he wants, not a little dog that his girlfriend decides when and where he can be with another woman
