There's no reason the mother should be about to die. Especially if he forced the CO out of her body. Some chest compressions to keep her heart beating and the CPR drugs and she'll probably wake up in minutes. You can't have common therapy look more effective then his magic and it not look weird. Maybe let the fireman start CPR while you work form the side.
Another reviewer pointed out how everyone acts like they're in a xianxia story. This is close to the mark. I think it's more accurate to say that everyone acts like a character in a story. Nobody is written as a believable person except perhaps Luna. MC is stereotypical cultivator MC, mom is stereotypical super crazy mom weak variant(as opposed to strong variant like in this young master is not cannon fodder), tank is stereotypical manly friend and other guy is basically the same character, archer is stereotypical book worm, she has a stereotypical siscon sister, and mage is a ladyboy magic nerd. The villains are not any better. The plots are not much better since the very stereotypical characters drive a lot of the plot. This is obviously a very stereotypical story. It's just done better than most to the point that it manages to escape the trash pile so far. So a good trashy story.
You don't need words. You need to read carefully. My ENTIRE point was to point out the discrepancy in the story not to argue about what kind of system he has. Do those couple of seconds matter to the point I was making? Yes. Do they matter to the point you're trying to make? No. But since you refuse to stay on the actual topic it's irrelevant. There is a gigantic difference between cultivating for 300,000 years nonstop and cultivating for 280 years nonstop. Not only that but I already further corrected you(it's actually in my Original Post) that from the MC's point of view it's a 24 hour period not a couple seconds. Every 24 hours he gets 280 years of nonstop cultivation.
If you have to be at work at 9 then you're probably up at 7.
One can only think about not trusting the system after they have their feet on the ground and a good foundation.
I understand what's going on perfectly fine. Thank you. 1. The story made a claim that I consider factually incorrect. 2. I corrected that claim. 3. You and other guy jump in explaining the basic premise of the story like it's new information while ignoring the actual point being discussed. 4. I point out that you're factually wrong. And that the statement would only be true if he's personally cultivating between AFK sessions. 5. You miss the point of the statement(continously cultivating as per the actual point) and start talking about how him personally cultivating wouldn't add much to his cultivation and think I don't understand AFK systems again despite none of that having anything to do with the actual point being discussed. 6. I bring up that most of what you're saying is ignoring the actual point being discussed. 7. You pretend that what you were saying is some hard to understand concept that I can't comprehend. Again, what I disputed was if the AFK operated 300,000 years without breaks. What you're trying to argue was that those tiny breaks wouldn't actually affect his cultivation and so he's not missing out. I didn't state they affected his cultivation or that he's missing out. Are there breaks or not in his cultivation? As you've already admitted. "Ok, so the few seconds in between each 24 hour interval doesn't make that much of a difference comparatively." Yes.
Yes, it does matter. As the statement was that he's cultivating WITHOUT BREAKS. That is what we're talking about. Nothing else. I showed that he is not since there is a 24 hour period between when he gets the results and has to restart the system. Most of what you said is completely irrelevant to that point.
It makes a difference in practice. Like I said he's not getting 300,000 years of insight at once. He's getting 280 years of insight every day. Don't forget that he himself is doing things like resting or whatever between the 24 hours so it's like a 24 hour break between 280 year bouts of cultivating. Of course he could also cultivate in real life during that time.
If it didn't take breaks then he wouldn't have to start it everyday. That's the point.
Except he clearly takes breaks everyday. So it's 300,000 years in increments of 280 years of cultivation at a time or so if me math be correct.
Are you a dungeon core?
It better not turn into a girl.
Breed them until you get a golden version. Then you'll be able to go anywhere.
