Hopefully soon this mess will be over and we can all get back to more regular action. I for one am more than a little excited to get back to the third strata and have a better look around. I'm sure there's a heap of cool things to see down there! - Beastwolf1yrCommentedAll sorts of different bits and pieces that I hadn't even considered before… The idea of being able to have a body that is essentially powered by mana alone… I suppose it makes perfect sense as you get lower down and the mana becomes more dense, but it's a different thing, seeing it for myself. Does this mean that Crinis might eventually be able to transmute her entire body into actual shadow? Just… be a living shadow and jump out of the dark at people? That's terrifying! Or Tiny! Could he just make himself into lightning? That would be… that would be rad as heck…

lol, he rejected the hive mind only to pick a hivemind that doesn't reduce the will of the hive. I guess it's technically better since this means less monsters have the authority to control and direct the colony for their purposes as each individual has their own strong will that collects into their champion.
It was as if they collectively formed one organism. A giant, living and breathing creature formed of millions of parts, with one will and one vision. It was beautiful. - Beastwolf1yrCommented
Ah yes, when your children are being unruly and you let them sit in the empty void of a magical monster's mouth. This totally wont have adverse effects on their growth and psychological development. Totally won't become ant psycho.

The healers have really changed over the course of the conflict. No longer are they the timid creatures they once were. They know their job and they don't take no guff, even from me. The systems that determine evolutiin are pretty unfocused and take a long time. Flight would considerably weaken you and have many different trade offs. Now ask why god didnt give you wings :P
