That turned dark real fast
May I know wehere this is from?
It's not about that. The thing is, the comment said that it was fine if it looked like a rape scene because he was the ML. This mentality should not be applied in real life. I stand by what I said that if you condone rape because he's the ML, then there's a problem with you. I'm against the comment, never did I complain about the plot. Besides, don't you all know that even husbands can rape their wives? It's not about us being too "sensitive." It's called being aware of the social issues in society. Although I think it's a two-way rape case, it still baffles me how it seemed as if the FL was not resisting, yet at the same time, resisting.
The plot is unique. It's not the same dramatic vicious stepmother/stepsister and stepdaughter plot. BUT! I really felt uncomfortable with the romance. Everyone, open your eyes. The ML raised her for 6 years. The ten-year age gap doesn't matter that much. However, it's different when the man raised the girl. It could've been anyone else, no matter the age (unless the man was more than 10 years older). Not to mention she was underage when he had *** with her. At first, the romance in the plot wasn't as prominent, so I didn't mind too much, but it just got worse as I read more of the book. Then, he clearly still treats her as a child despite already establishing that they are in fact in a relationship. This is just....no.
Yes, pigs are so sweet, and honest and.... delicious đ
Ngl, he is my favorite person in this novel
Can anyone tell me how to learn these skills? 𼺠How do these FLs just learn hacking skills from out of nowhere?
In my opinion, this isnât a novel I would read more than once because my emotions went through a rollercoaster reading this novel. It was one of the MOST emotional, frustrating, tear-jerking and fluffy novels I have ever read (the r-18 scenes were a bonus, too đ). The tears and happiness I spent on this book took a toll on my mind so much that I donât think I want to read it ever again. Itâs been 11 months since I read this novel yet it still seems fresh in my mind, the scars of my heart still feel as if they were made just yesterday. You will not regret reading this book. This is definitely not a boring nove because I didnât even look at another story or watch videos online until I finished it. If you want spoilers, Iâll tell you some parts of the story most memorable to me. The most frustrating scene of the book: When they had a misunderstanding. Lucia couldnât have a child (until she willfully uses the antidote from her past life a.k.a her dreams) and she wouldnât say the reason why she canât get pregnant and how she became barren and Hugo couldnât admit to her about the dirty story of his bloodline a.k.a how children of the Dukedom were born, so they had a huge misunderstanding simply because they couldnât admit what was in their hearts. But imo, it was mostly Hugoâs fault because he legit told her that if she got pregnant, it wouldnât be his child. She got so mad (which was reasonable) because he basically accused her of being unfaithful. It blew everything out of proportion. Most fluffy scenes: When Lucia spends time with Damian and whenever Hugo is jealous and spoils her so much. Hugo is absolutely adorable when it comes to his jealousy and protectiveness, it doesnât come off as creepy like in other novels. Lucia absolutely babies Damian despite Damian being mature and bigger than others his age (their relationship is cute).
Right?! Omfg, exactly! She keeps sayong theyâre limited and had to be kept secrets, but she gives those damned pills to anyone and everyone who are âinjured.â Not only that, clearly, those villains are just there to make the FL look good. Theyâre just mindless idiots. I donât know if you noticed, but every single time thereâs a villain, the author always put these kinds of lines: âS/heâs a very selfish person. S/he doesnât care about anyone and doesnât think about changing.â Itâs always like that, and honestly, the plot isnât well-written. I feel like the author even forgets about some characters and just goes like, âIâll just insert them here so readers donât think I forgot about them.â The fantasy (like the cultivators, zombies and etc.) part of the story donât fit well with the plot and feels like it was written in the story based on the authorâs whim. I used to be very enamoured by this book, but as I read on, it was just not my cup of tea and it sucks.
Okay, this is my last comment. But, Gu Ningâs country has something against the R country, I think they have deep-seated hatred. In the first part of the story, when Gu Ning was selling a jade, a man from country R wanted to buy it and even had a translator, but Gu Ning decided to be bitchy and refuse him simply because he was from country R. Now, if her country had the law to not sell people from country R items, then I wonât have a problem with it. The man wasnât even rude or anything. This is just plain discrimination. She may be very patriotic but to me, this is a Grade A discrimination. Now there are actually people in the story from country R who are legit villains, and deserved to be punished but the man who just wanted jade didnât even show a bit of rudeness. For a FL who claim to be nice to whoâs nice to her and rude to whoâs rude to her, clearly, she just has a prejudice against people from a certain country. From where Iâm from, the Spaniards colonized us for 300 years, but you donât see us hating the Spaniards for all the shit they put us through, right? We praise one of our heroes for writing novels that put all the evil deeds the Spaniards did to our countrymen, but we donât hate the Spaniards, nor do we discriminate against them. But hey, I guess Gu Ningâs one of a kind and a fictional character, so I guess this is not to be compared. But then again, people can sell to whom they want to sell. I mean, there are actually laws about who and what to sell, but it seems this story doesnât.
In my opinion, the story was written badly. Why? Itâs because the story was written so deliberately and detailed that it took the fun of using common sense to understand the story out. Also every time there was a bad person in the story, expect these types of line, âShe is a very selfish person. She doesnât care about anyone. She only blames anyone but herself.â This turns me off so much, which is one of the reasons I decided to drop the book. Lines like, âShe said it calmly, like it wasnât a big deal.â also somehow made me feel as if the FL was narcissistic. Also, I donât know what your type is but the fantasy element in the story is getting too much for me. It doesnât seem to go well with the story. I donât have anything against mondern theme with fantasy. But the way this was written into the story didnât justify the fantasy elements. All in all, I donât feel that this is a very good book, but if you have nothing to read, might as well try this one.
So she let herself suffer extreme training with Dante for years, only to let herself be shoved around like a mindless idiot? Tsk, although the novelâs pretty funny and deep at times, I keep getting disappointed with this MC
dumb*ss b*tch, if sheâs stuck in her room, how the f*ck will she go to you to beg for forgiveness?
Why is it always Africa, though? In every Chinese comic/webtoon and novel I find, the assistants are always threatened with the continent of Africa.. hmm
Lol how can someone expect someone to find them when theyâre hiding and saying misinformation deliberately? Idk about yâall but I donât hide when I want someone to find me and I definitely wonât wonder why I havenât been found yet đââď¸
I canât believe my brain automatically read that in an anime voice with no hesitation whatsoever đ¤Śââď¸
