That is good and all, but I changed the way Vestiges are viewed into a more of a story in 3rd person focusing on a character with some exposition dropped in about the world or clarifying the situation as that is far easier and less messier than this type of vague writing. just wanted to try and translate the way scenarios were presented inside the Vestiges from the game into words.

The fic might have 80k words at the moment, but MC has been in Code Vein for 9 days. His first goal is adapting and becoming stronger. can't do much about Io besides guiding her into developing her own interests for her own good and his, even if those interests are somehow related to helping MC as she is his attendant.

It's just good eyesight. No heat sensor to see through walls or anything. No way the Queen that can use lightning, fire, ice, and summon small spikes of judgment to throw arround like Rods of God would just have good eyesight. (It's stated that Jack can see the state of other relics with the eye of the Queen inplanted in him but I'm planning on adding more to that cuz that just kind of lame...)Blood relic only allows the user to soothe other relic users and revive blood springs and mistles. Adam is hella weak right now, even the basic lost beats him in strength at the moment, he can't even use a gift to save his life.
I was getting the hang of fighting in this new body. That and the talent I've taken from the original owner did wonders too. Chapter 18 (Business) it's mentioned that Adam called her "flat" while in the hot springs that led him to making it up to her in helping the girl doing maintenance on the equipment... he also absorbed venom with the blood veil which isn't good for it at all and almost ruined it. He used it against the boss in chap 14 when it was obviously bleeding venom that almost worked as acid since it burned Adam's wound while it healed. Blood Veils might work as sturdy armor but draining anything but Ichor can mess its inner workings.
