It might have worked if he didn't decapitate Adam. It's hard to say you killed in self-defense after that. I don't see any way to justify that.

Since Noah also has the projection skill, he could stay in Rey's room to make them believe he is still in there while Rey sneak out disguised as Noah. I doubt anyone would notice his absence that way.

but you can fill an ender chest with shulkers and it only take 1 inventory slot
