Keegan_K1yrCommentedHonestly, the two options don't make sense. As others have stated, he has already been using a God Slayer ability as a God. This just feels like he is being powered down to make the other Gods pose more of a threat and add unneeded suspense to the story. His power gains have always felt like he takes two steps forward then one and a half steps back every time.

The video clip was of Peter, Owen and the others fighting against the Celestial. As Quinn already expected somewhat that something was going on, it was hard to tell how many more would come. - Keegan_K1yrReplied to swcowboy
I disagree with the overdue aspect as this entire portion of the novel is the aftermath of the loss of 1000 years in the world he fought to create, with him finding out all the people close and important to him that have died in that time frame (Leo for example). But that is just my opinion/perspective.

Honestly, I'm really appreciative of JKS for giving her these meaningful callbacks. I don't think he originally intended for her to have as much importance until our feedback about her, so thanks.
