I feel he’s telling the truth, but doesn’t plan to bring them back as humans. Instead he’ll bring them back as mindless creatures who simply obey him.

Make it a tutorial, like have traps with a sign saying this is a trap be wary of these. Treasure chests saying this could be treasure or a trap be weary etc.

Sil has the best chance of defeating her though. Quinn is stronger than her, but if he can’t find it in him to kill her, he’d just make her stronger. Sil is human, and therefore wouldn’t give her a strength boost fighting her. not sure if sub classes have a similar effect to dhampirs.
