With all the foreshadowing I think the angel is neph. Her name is close to nephilim he’s a shadow.

I won’t give less stars because the author does a damn good job of keeping up with demand. Only thing I will say is the focus on how sexy some characters are distracts from the quality of the story telling. I Personally don’t want to read “her seductive slim waist sways “ every time one of the assassins appears or disappears Other then that the story telling is great and hopefully we get more funny scenes because with how rough his journey is becoming he deserves to have more laughs

Agreed. Super sad because this novel started it all for me only to disappoint in the end. No conclusion to his grandfather. Seems like there is supposed to be another novel but I don’t see anything which reall aggrivated me. Spent a year or two worth of time reading only for a disappointing ending. Like why was golden growler able to summon the door
