I am not going to lie I stopped reading at 130 and skipped to the end because I did not like the li character. He reminded me of a second character from a different book that I read. He was too much and it was impossible to read. This story was too sad and I honestly can’t stomach reading it because the main male character did not reel me in. The ending with pei was sad and made me wish that he was not abusive and that she ended with him because once you take away the abuse he was the kind of man I liked in books.

I think because of some of the abuse. Honestly people cry about a book like its real life and it’s annoying.

I enjoy this book and think that maybe it’s not for people who have been abused. it’s entertaining.

This is the author I don't want anybody to be confused so the most important thing to know is that the main character is telling her story besides the scenes that are not with her. but she talks to herself alot. Alot of it is her thoughts .She's emotionally all over the place at times so she is always in her mind. I wanted you to see what she went through and what she thought. The beginning isn't as eventful as further on. This is a love and war book. It's going to be a journey and I really hope everyone at least gives it a try.

I want everyone to know that this book has alot of manipulation in it. so If at times it seems like there's a plot problem there isn't. Mazaya alters memories alot as you can see but I can assure you that all flash backs are real and all scenes are also. If someone brings up a memory it may or may not be real. only time will tell. So if a flashback comes up contradicting a memory that mean that memory was altered. I hope everyone enjoys. Just alittle hint to help you enjoy the book more

it not hard to understand that she still was super hurt .you can't just get the love back overnight. maybe she does love him .she's giving him what she can and he will accept it. she wanted nothing to do with him but he kept hounding her .she gave in and now she's trying. obviously people can't read or understand her side of view .she lost her love because losing her baby having her dad killed and being left in the dark and being alone for years .
