I just want to voice my opinion here (and express some immersion-issues) pls don't be offended. 1. Daggers are stabbing weapons. Especially against something like a wolf that has a pelt, one wont get anywhere with shallow cuts from daggers. Dual wielding daggers is cool and all...but with swords you get the same weapon with more advantages like more range, its easier to block attacks and its easier to generate more strength at the fast moving tip of the sword. 2. Reach is everything. Especially a human trying to survive IN HELL wouldn't want any monster to get even close to him/her. So spear or staff would be the way to go...with having daggers as emergency weapons or in close range situations. I personally would have all kinds of weapons on me as long as they wont weigh me down. Especially some ranged weapon to whittle my opponents dow before they can reach me would be useful. 3. The reunion with the family went to easy and too fast. They probably already decleared him dead and he should go to the police station first before doing anything. Also the mother definitely wouldn't let mc go to a 50% death dungeon after just reuniting with him the other day. 4. Cutting a beard is easily possible with a stone....not to mention daggers he presumably used in hell... Anyway, I like the story, but I don't think it is well enoigh thought through.
