I raised my arm up to block, and even through my Scale Mail armor and Aura, his blade sunk into my flesh. I liked Chris. After all, despite his shortcomings, he was one of my oldest teammates, as he had been there since the very beginning. It might sound dumb, since this was only our third mission, but with the kind of environment we were forced to live in, bounds were easier to create.
